Welcome
to the Rochester Area School District. As Superintendent, I
am very
pleased to accept the challenge of overseeing the education of your
children
and affecting the future of our school community. Public
education is a
huge job. In order to be successful, teachers, staff and
students must
support each other. As chief administrator, I support all
efforts by
asking the following questions: is it educationally sound, is
it good for
kids, and is it fiscally responsible.
Our
goals as a district are as follows:

more personalized approach to raise student achievement and to stress
the importance of quality teaching and learning.

working relationship among the Board of Education, staff,
administration and the community by developing sound budgets and
moderate levels of taxation.

comprehensive plan for evaluating personnel and a commitment to hire
highly qualified administrators, teachers and staff.
