RASD Board Member Acon, can she be trusted?

I am a former graduate of Rochester School District and a former student of Mrs. Marian Acon. I moved to another state several years ago due to my husband’s career but I continue to keep in touch with the people I left behind and I have been following the rasd.net website. It truly saddens 
me to see the chaos and not to mention the lies that Mrs. Acon is creating among alot of people who trusted and believed in her. It doesn’t surprise me though. Mrs. Acon always walked the hallways and the community with her nose in the air and thought she was better than everyone else. Well I have a news flash for everyone…she was a plastic imitation of a conceded, stuck up, know-it-all, evil, intelligent Barbie and still is today. I feel so bad for those voters and the other candidates that backed her, supported her, campaigned for her, donated monies and their time to her, as she lied to EVERYONE and that includes former and present teachers, as she threw all of you under the bus and left you all for dead! Mrs. Acon is using Mrs. Zeigler because she knows that Mrs. Zeigler isn’t afraid to speak her mind. By the way I admire those people. But Mrs. Acon gets Mrs. Zeigler all wound up, knowing she will speak up, and Mrs. Acon sits quietly and acts as though she knows nothing about what is going on while she is absorbing and thinking of what her next evil tactic will be and against who. So, please Mrs. Zeigler, don’t get to close to hear anything that Mrs. Acon has to say, even a whisper, because the blades will come out and you will be done for. She is and will use you!
Oh no. When will this madness stop? First it was Evey and Johnny boy and the bunch of idiots that followed them all in charge and Wilkovich pulling them around by the nose. Now this. Wako has her three LADY friends at her beck and call ( ACORN, ZIGGY, HUBERD ) and now she is working on BRANT. She is never happy unless she gets her majority and her way. When will you people learn! She is the enemy and she is destroying this school every tick of the clock . Do what you promised during the election, everyone of you five stood there and said you were going to get rid of her. WELL DO IT !
I guess we now have two Judas’s ! Acon and Brant ! What a duo !
Still waiting for the campaign promises and everyday her OHIO car is still there, unless she has a day off as she does a few times a week ! Thanks for nothing the dynamic 5! You will never get my vote again.
I actually checked into this, because I really didn’t believe it. But you are correct unhappy voter! He did buy that witch flowers. Looks like she cast her spell on him and is now in her power. I am so glad that I don’t go near her, she frightens me to death and I sure the heck don’t want to end up actually giving her anything ( except an escort to her car for good ) To think of all the support Mr. Brant mustered up and for him to this is unconceivable. Well I guess you can’t judge a book by its cover !

DON’T TRUST ACORN ! She is a slithering snake in the grass . She took lessons from her buddies Reda and Martino ! They taught her well ! Do us all a favor and crawl back into the hole you came out of, Rochester would be a lot better off. By the way, maybe you could be CAW’s make over person. She could use it and well we all know what a SNAPPY DRESSER, MAKE UP ARTIST, AND WONDERFUL BOWL ON THE HEAD HAIR DRESSER.
I don’t understand why people are so critical of poor Marian Acon. I can remember something Marion did that I think everyone will believe was a good deed on Marion’s part. This happened quite a few years ago when Marion was teaching at Rochester and was involved in many extracurricular activities one being homecoming, the other the school newspaper.
It was time for homecoming nominations. The students voted for a young girl who was “challenged” to be on court. Marion in all her infinite wisdom decided it was necessary to speak out against this, not only verbally to everyone who would listen, but also by the very eloquent letter she wrote in the oracle advising how wrong it was that this girl be voted to such an important position. It didn’t matter to her that this young girl was ecstatic, or that her parents were elated to find out that their daughter had “friends” and was accepted for who she was. Marion did what she felt was right.
She let everyone know this girl did not deserve this prestigious position. Thank goodness Marion had the sense to attempt to shatter this girl’s, as well as her parent’s dreams. I mean after all we really couldn’t have expected that someone less than perfect could handle something as important as homecoming queen.
I find it funny to read these comments from former students. I guess if anyone would know what she was truly like as a teacher, they would know. I worked at the school at the time, she worked there, and you hit the nail on the head when you said she PEACOCKED around the school. I didn’t know what college she attended but if it would have been Yale I may be a bit more impressed, but Slippery Rock is not a prestigious school, that would make her think her shit didn’t stink ! Everyone graduates from Slippery Rock and Youngstown U ! What amazes me the most is how she snookered people into voting for her! She is already backstabbing and way too friendly with the EVIL RED HEAD ! Just watch her in the months to come, and if she keeps Holly in tow and now Michele H, she still won’t do any damage, the young men are next in her sites, but I think they are smarter than a FIFTH GRADER( more than I can say for her ), so Acon look somewhere else !
Wow, as another former student I have to say the above is true of how Mrs. Acon used to “teach”. I can’t say I was surprised to hear she joined the school board , as she mostly seemed concerned with social status and the cliques in highschool. Though I wish I could go back and ask her why she thought she had the right to act so high and mighty with a degree from Slippery Rock. Not to mention she didn’t even use that degree to attempt to instruct her students. Took her English class junior and senior year and was not assigned ONE book to read! We sat around and watched her “peacock ” around the room. Sorry voters were fooled into supporting someone that doesn’t give a rat’s ass about education.

I could not agree more with this article. I remember all too well her walking the halls with her nose so far up in the air I thought she also doubled as a construction worker looking at the ceiling. Her and her side kick Karwoski were two of the biggest asses I have ever seen. What a shame that there were actually people who believed her lies and deceit and helped elect such a mean spirited person. Her and Wilkovich together could take down an entire school and town with the vicious ways they have. Not sure what you mean by throwing others under the bus, but I can be sure she did it to gain Wilkovich’s good grace and make herself look good. Well at your spry old age, there is no hope for either of you. A friend told me she still wears the same clothes she wore when she taught and has the same stupid hair cut. I guess she is longing for HER DAYS when she strolled the halls and acted as though she was important. I personally didn’t learn a thing from her class as she was too busy screwing around in every club and activity she could make a dime off. Now she is back in a different position but I can tell she will be the thorn in the side of everyone that she comes into contact with ( maybe her and Wilkovich can tag team and screw over more people than ever) I hope the rest of the board does not let her get her way and keeps her and BIG RED in check, it is time that the school returns to some sort of normalcy. In other words, please just treat her like she has treated others for years.
