Beware that the proposed renovation project may disrupt the quality of education, create a health risk, and an expence with no longterm benifit. Is it worth the risk of disruption, health concerns, and expence for a school district that will be merged with another district within five years. Most temporary classrooms create an undisirable arrangement for learning. There are different types/styles of TCs and different ways to arrange the way they are connected and placed. Both of these items must be well thought through if this system of educating children is to succseed with minimal disruption. RASD Admin and School Board please seek professional advise from qualified consultants before attempting this endever. CAW and School Board does not have the expertise in these areas. In the past there have been examples of the Admin. and SB making bad decisions that disrupted school activities when uniformed decisions were made. This renovation project is not only expensive, when the district cannot afford additional costs, but can cause major disruptions to education/learning. Also removing asbestos when children are in the school is not a sound judgement for many I repeat many reasons, too many to list here.
