-25 or above. Must be enrolled as a full time Freshman at an
accredited institution of higher education that participates in Federal
Student Aid Programs.

UPMC Sports Medicine
$2,000 will be awarded to
a selected individual in return for a 6 week summer internship (40 hours
per week) at the Center for Sports Medicine of the University of
Pittsburgh Medical Center/Centers for Rehab Services. To qualify the
applicant must be entering his/her senior year of high school and exhibit
a substantial interest in a career in sports medicine. See application for

Vietnam
Veterans of America
$1,000 awarded to a
Beaver County High School Graduating Senior who is a child, grandchild,
stepchild, or legally adopted child of a Vietnam Vet, KIA, MIA, or
deceased era Veteran. Copy of Veteran's discharge papers (DD-214)
are to be submitted with application. Student must have a
minimum of 3.0 GPA. Must submit a notarized copy of transcript. 2
letters of recommendation one from a teacher, one from an administrator
explaining why he/she should receive the scholarship. Must submit a copy
of acceptance letter from a 4 year, 2 year or Technical school. Must
submit a 500 word essay on "Proud to be an American and its
Responsibilities".
